A Father’s Mission to Educate Specially Abled Children: The Journey of Mari Gowda
Sri Nava Chetana Basaveshwara Trust was founded by Mari Gowda, a dedicated daily wage worker from Srirampura, Mysuru. The school was inspired by his personal journey, as his own child was born with special needs. Motivated by the challenges he faced, Mari Gowda established this school to provide education and support for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Despite facing many difficulties, he remains committed to his mission and seeks financial support to enhance the quality of education and care for these children.

Impact Stories
From Silence to Song:
avya, a non-verbal child with developmental delays, joined the school with little hope for progress. With consistent speech therapy and special education support, she surprised everyone by humming her first song during an extracurricular music session. This breakthrough not only gave her a new way to communicate but also ignited hope in her parents.
Empowering Independence
Arjun, a 14-year-old with cognitive impairments, struggled with daily tasks. Through skill development workshops and personalized vocational training, he learned to make handicrafts, eventually selling his creations. His journey from dependency to earning his own income inspired other families to believe in their children’s potential.
